Responsibilities

• Observes equipment in operation to locate problems.
• Dismantles equipment to access worn parts.
• Repairs or replaces worn or defective parts.
• Installs wiring and tests power for new equipment.
• Diagnoses motors, wiring, PLC, I/O modules and power supplies.
• Tests equipment performance.
• Aligns motors per manufacturer specifications.
• Follows lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintains good housekeeping in maintenance area.
• Follows work instructions.
