Job summary

Virbac Corporation is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians in Bridgeton, MO. You will troubleshoot critical production equipment in a climate-controlled facility and earn up to $103,605 per year, plus $1.50/hour after completing specialized training.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience with strong mechanical and electrical skills in regulated manufacturing, and are ready to work first or second shift on a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Background in regulated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance on production, packaging, mixing, and compression equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to restore operation.
• Repair and maintain motors, pumps, gearboxes, and machine controls.
• Apply electrical troubleshooting skills and PLC knowledge to diagnose issues and improve reliability.
• Read and interpret manuals, work orders, and technical documentation to complete repairs.
• Inspect equipment and perform preventative maintenance according to procedures.
• Maintain maintenance records and use testing equipment.
• Maintain facility systems including boilers, chillers, air-handling systems.
• Identify safety hazards and participate in continuous improvement.
