Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment, replace faulty parts, and troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires reading drawings, following safety procedures, and working on a rotating schedule with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must understand hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and service manuals.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance checks on production equipment.
• Replaces or repairs parts such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves and switches.
• Observes and locates causes of trouble in mechanical devices.
• Dismantles devices to access defective parts and inspects them for defects.
• Adjusts functional parts and controls; tests performance after repairs.
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and lubricates/cleans components.
• Works in on-call rotation and may require overtime as needed.
• Follows safety rules to ensure a safe environment.
