Job summary

Grahamjobs in Thomasville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Tech to service and maintain plant equipment and building systems. This role involves diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, performing scheduled preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety and cleanliness on the line.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm, with a pay rate of $28–$34 per hour depending on experience. PLC/automation experience is desirable, along with familiarity with gears, conveyors, motors, and

Qualifications

Experience in maintenance of equipment and building systems.
Familiarity with PLC and automation is desirable.
Ability to follow OHSA and corporate safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions on equipment, machinery, and building systems.
Perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
Use appropriate tools for maintenance tasks.
Maintain building systems in good working order.
Promote and apply 5-S standards to improve efficiency, cleanliness and safety.
Follow OSHA and corporate safety guidelines and assist in safety improvements.
Assist production in continuous improvement activities.
Work with gears, conveyors, electrical systems, and motors.
Experience with PLC and automation is desirable.
