Job summary

The Salvation Army Silvercrest Residence in Eureka, CA is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform repairs and maintenance across our 150-unit community. You will manage work orders, conduct HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks, and coordinate with vendors as needed.

The role requires on-site work, occasional driving, and after-hours on-call duties. We offer 1-bedroom apartment housing, PTO, full medical/dental benefits, and retirement/403b options.

Qualifications

• HVAC repairs, minor carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs required.
• Experience in managing work orders and daily upkeep of properties preferred.
• Ability to drive for business purposes may be required.
• Strong commitment to safety, confidentiality and resident relations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all repair and maintenance tasks.
• Perform custodial duties and ensure cleanliness.
• Address HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Respond to work orders promptly and maintain records.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for complex repairs.
• Conduct daily ground inspections and ensure building upkeep.
• Possess valid driver's license and driving insurance if required.
• Provide after-hours on-call support as needed.
