Job summary

Kreider Farms is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Tech at its Milk Processing Plant in Manheim, PA. The role runs 4x10 hour nights (7:00 PM–5:00 AM) on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in a sanitary, food-focused facility. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with vocational training in electrical/mechanical systems and at least 3 years in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial maintenance experience including mechanical/electrical, general maintenance, robotics, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic work
• Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous Dairy/Fluid processing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Install and configure electrical and mechanical components of industrial machinery, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems
• Maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance, including lubrication, adjustments, and parts replacement
• Troubleshoot/Diagnose/Repair electrical and mechanical issues
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of PPE and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to comply with company policies and industry regulations
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in sanitary/food manufacturing facilities is a plus
