Job summary

Hornady Manufacturing Company is seeking a Maintenance Tech for night shift to perform essential maintenance on precision machinery. The role requires a solid background in mechanical maintenance and the ability to handle hydraulic/pneumatic systems and basic electrical work.

Ideal candidates will lift heavy equipment, operate metalworking tools, and commit to ~50 hours per week. Forklift or scissor lift experience is a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

MAINTENANCE TECH - night shift (Maintenance)

Essential Functions:

• Practices safe work habits while performing maintenance
• Rebuilds precision machinery and equipment
• Repairs electrical equipment and performs basic wiring
• Installs and adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Assist in moving large and small equipment

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of technical maintenance experience, possess a high level of mechanical aptitude (hydraulic / pneumatic), attention to detail, and have the ability to work an average of 50 hours/week. Heavy lifting required. Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred. Electrical and MIG/TIG Welding experience a plus.
