Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Waterbury is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to operate department equipment and perform general facility maintenance in a hospital environment. You will help ensure safety for employees, patients, and visitors while supporting routine repairs and preventive tasks.

The role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience (hospital experience preferred) and a flexible, team-oriented approach. On-site work with comprehensive benefits available to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Electrical maintenance license preferred but not required; training available.
• 1–2 years in general maintenance; hospital maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate department equipment and perform general facility maintenance.
• Maintain a safe environment of care for staff, patients, visitors.
• Provide security in the absence of security officer and assist with other duties.
