Job summary

The Habitat Company, LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to upkeep our Michigan properties and enhance curb appeal. You will perform routine maintenance, replace bulbs, run daily walk-downs, and assist in managing work orders to ensure resident comfort and safety.

This full-time on-site role requires safety awareness and flexibility to participate in standby emergency coverage. HVAC certification is preferred; collaborate with the Property Manager and staff to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Full-time janitorial/maintenance experience.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Commitment to work-safety programs.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily building walk-downs and replace burned-out bulbs in hallways, stairwells, and batteries in emergency lighting as needed.
• Complete assigned work orders according to company guidelines.
• Perform final inspections of units turned over for leasing.
