Job summary

Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre is seeking a Maintenance Tech in Saginaw, MI to keep the grounds, facility, and equipment in safe, good condition. You will follow maintenance schedules, perform routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and more, ensuring a clean, orderly environment for residents and staff.

The role offers part-time hours (8-hour shifts, ~24 hours per week) with starting pay at $16.00 per hour and yearly wage increases, plus comprehensive benefits and 401k with

Qualifications

• 1+ year maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer skills; experience utilizing electronic work orders a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance schedules are followed for assigned area.
• Follow fire safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain facility in good repair, safe and clean.
• Monitor and maintain maintenance supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).

TheMaintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards and regulations, to ensure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.
You will earn:

• Starting wage - $16.00 per hour
• Yearly wage Increases

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• 8 hour shifts - 24 hours Per Week/Part Time
• Days will vary

How you will help people every day:

• Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for assigned area.
• Follow established fire safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean and orderly environment.
• Monitor and maintain maintenance supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical.

What you will need to be a part of our EPIC team:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
• Basic computer skills; experience utilizing electronic work orders a plus.
