Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Minnesota. The role involves hands-on maintenance of boilers, plumbing, electrical and general building systems across North and Metro roving areas.

You will work independently and as part of a team to service apartment communities. The successful candidate will have a current boiler license, strong plumbing and mechanical skills, and a proven track record in multi-family property maintenance.

Qualifications

• Boiler license is required and must be current.
• Experience with boilers, heating systems, plumbing, and general building repairs.
• Experience in apartment or multi-family property maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting and general building repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to respond to maintenance emergencies and organize work efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, hot water systems, plumbing, and other building equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing leaks, fixtures, toilets, faucets, and related systems.
• Complete apartment turnovers and prepare units for new residents.
• Maintain building common areas, mechanical rooms, and grounds.
• Assist with larger building maintenance and improvement projects.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations; participate in on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
