Qualifications

• Experience in welding, machining, pneumatics, hydraulics and plumbing required.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems is a must.
• Experience with maintaining moving machinery preferred.
• Ability to lift 50-70 pounds and work from upright, kneeling and prone positions.
• Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of machinery and maintenance on pneumatics, conveyors, and production machines.
• Adjust functional parts using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedge.
• Document and communicate actions and needs using work orders.
• Troubleshoot production systems to keep them running.
• Locate sources of problems by observing devices and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools.
• Act as primary maintenance support for the plant.
