Job summary
Paycom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to sustain corrugated packaging equipment in a fast-paced facility. You will perform preventative maintenance on flexo folder gluers, die cutters, and related machinery, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, and minimize downtime through rapid repairs.
You will read blueprints, document work orders, and support upgrades while following safety and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
- Corrugated packaging industry experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read manuals, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Must work independently and in a team; overtime/weekends/on-call as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on corrugated converting and finishing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; replace components as needed.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Read blueprints/schematics and troubleshoot systems.
- Maintain maintenance records and work orders in the tracking system.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
