Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Tech III for first shift with a sign-on bonus. The role covers electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and mechanical maintenance across our casino properties, repairing a wide range of equipment and systems to ensure reliable operations.

The position requires experience in hotel/casino maintenance, proficiency with tools and testing equipment, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• The position requires a minimum of three years’ related engineering experience in a hotel/casino with 750+ rooms, and/or an AA Degree in a related field plus five years’ related experience.
• Ability to maintain all Regulatory licenses within the state of employment
• Must successfully pass background check
• Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs refrigerator equipment, boilers, and electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
• Repairs and maintains equipment such as motors and pumps throughout the property.
• Responds to maintenance requests with courteous, timely and expert service.
• Installs, removes or relocates electronic equipment per established priorities.
• Repairs and installs electronic, CCTV, alarm, paging, and audio-visual systems.
• Performs painting and carpentry to meet specifications.
• Operates milling equipment, lathes and power tools; welds materials.
• Erects scaffolding, prepares surfaces for painting and wall coverings.
• May work with hotel lock systems and high-rise lift equipment.
