Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our plant and equipment running. You will perform routine maintenance on manufacturing machinery and assist with rigging, moving and erecting tools and equipment for new installations or layout changes.

The role requires broad mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge, forklift operation, and computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge to address mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems.
• Comprehensive knowledge in mechanical, electrical and pneumatics systems, and machine maintenance.
• Successful completion or pursuing of a Technical Trainer Course.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rigging, moving and erecting all types of machine tools and equipment for new installations or intra-plant layout changes.
• Dismantle and reassemble machines undergoing repairs, overhauls and/or rebuilds.
• Perform structural and sheet metal work, rough carpentry, pipe fitting, plumbing, electrical, welding, HVAC, etc. incidental to operations.
• Maintain buildings including windows, doors, roof, floors, and light fixtures; construct partitions, racks, pallets, etc.
• Conduct safety checks
• Maintain inventory control of maintenance supplies.
• Perform electrical duties such as wiring, troubleshooting and repair.
