Job summary

Tower Health's Reading Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and day-to-day repairs of equipment, systems and building configurations. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work with the maintenance team.

The Technician will operate, maintain, monitor and repair steam, chilled water, and cogeneration plant equipment and related controls, using a computerized work order system and coordinating with Leads and Managers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or relevant experience)
• Relevant experience in maintenance or related field preferred
• PA Driver's License required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and day-to-day repairs of equipment, systems and building configurations.
• Operate, maintain, monitor and repair steam, chilled water, and cogeneration plant equipment and controls.
• Manage tasks in a self-directed manner using the computerized work order system.
• Communicate with Leads and Managers about status and needs.
• Additional duties as assigned by Management.
