Job summary

Cedar Community in Wisconsin is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain buildings, equipment, and facilities. This full-time daytime role involves completing repairs, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to work orders to keep our campus safe and comfortable.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and replace fixtures and systems, maintain water systems, and service equipment such as hospital beds and wheelchairs. A valid Wisconsin driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of building or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and safely use tools.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace fixtures, equipment, lighting using hand and power tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests, diagnose problems, complete repairs, and document work.
• Maintain water systems and repair equipment such as hospital beds and wheelchairs.
