Job summary

Iowa Select Farms in Iowa is seeking a full-time Repair and Maintenance professional to oversee facilities maintenance and respond to work tickets across our regional operations.

You will collaborate with site managers and production supervisors to keep facilities running at peak efficiency, use a ticket system to track repairs, and apply knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and welding. Strong teamwork and safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to company biosecurity, animal well-being and safety policies.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb over gates up to 48 inches in height.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Availability for rotating on-call weekend responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance for facilities in the region and production system.
• Work closely with site manager/production supervisor to ensure optimal operation.
• Utilize work ticket system to track and prioritize repairs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general construction methods including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and welding.
• Work with hand and power tools to complete repairs.
