Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain and repair beverage line electrical, control systems, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

  • High level of proficiency in written, verbal, and arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to plan and juggle multi-task environment and lead maintenance team.
  • Ability to train and direct maintenance staff.
  • Ability to earn future designations as required by Industry standards, EPA regulations, OSHA requirements, etc.
  • Must possess solid knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing. information as required by daily operations.
  • Must pass Maintenance Skills Competency Test.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs and wear PPE while in warehouse/production areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance.
  • Schedule and perform minor and routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Diagnose and perform routine maintenance or repair involving electrical, plumbing, A/C and heating systems.
  • Inspect and maintain tools and inventory; ensure safety.
  • Learn and comply with all company safety rules; report unsafe conditions to the manager.
  • Work with maintenance team and provide support as needed.

Summary Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician II is responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing and repairing all beverage line electrical, control systems, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and components. Applies knowledge of mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to intended operation. Regularly observes and discuss equipment performance and make recommendations for activities to improve this. Promotes and supports the company quality & safety standards, focusing on continuous improvement.

Essential Job Functions
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe boots and seatbelts while operating forklifts)
  • Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or Safe Quality Food requirements.
  • Keep all safety material current and readily accessible. This includes MSDS sheets, HAZCOM recordkeeping, EPA regulations, and OSHA requirements.
  • You must be aware of the condition of physical property throughout the facility and immediately correct unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance
  • Schedule and perform minor and routine maintenance on all appropriate equipment on a regular basis. Inspect and maintain all tools in excellent condition.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle most common repairs and situations.
  • Learn and comply with all company safety rules. Use appropriate safety equipment at all times. Be familiar with all safety features on equipment, machinery, or materials encompassed by job duties. Immediately report any unsafe conditions to the manager.
  • Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair involving the following on a daily basis:
    • Electrical and plumbing (including water lines)
    • A/C and heating systems
    • Appliances
    • Water irrigation systems
    • Stairs, gates, fences, patios, and railings
    • Tile, carpet, and flooring
    • Roofing, gutters, fasteners
    • Interior/exterior lights
    • Fireplaces, ceiling fans
    • Gas fixtures and appliances
    • Door locks, P.O. boxes and locks
    • Security systems
    • Ceiling leaks
    • Walls
Required Skills
