As part of our hospitality operations, Maintenance Technicians deliver a flawless guest experience. You will work across units with a flexible schedule, enjoy checklists, and tackle facilities challenges across multiple trades and building types.

The Opportunity

• Complete a variety of maintenance tasks for guest spaces and rooms, including troubleshooting, light repairs, and major repairs or replacements of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, structural, or other building assets.
• Perform periodic maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other equipment.
• Perform high-quality handyman repairs in guest rooms and spaces (furniture, doors, windows, patch and paint, hardware).
• Adhere to applicable safety and productivity guidelines (OSHA, ADA, and other regulations).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area during maintenance, repair, or installation tasks.
• Coordinate, meet, and support third-party contractors (painters, installers, furniture builders, housekeepers, and other trades).
• Conduct thorough apartment walkthroughs and maintenance checks.
• Organize and document project information and updates.
• Instruct and supervise contractors as they paint, build furniture, hang art, photograph, and clean.
• Travel to various buildings/cities as required.
• Support hospitality operations as needed, including assisting with guest issues and property onboarding based on market/team needs.

Who We Look For

• Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance as a Maintenance Technician II or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in a skilled trade (e.g., HVAC, electrical, carpentry); examples include NFPA 70E, EPA, OSHA 30, general contractor license
• Excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
• Professional demeanor and strong relationship-building skills
• Motivated to adopt new technologies
• Knowledge of Google Suite
• Physical ability to lift/carry items and stand/walk for extended periods
• Background in construction, hospitality, or operations is a plus
• Flexible schedule with possible weekend work
• Support safety and security responsibilities, including fire and life safety concerns
• Regular access to a reliable smartphone and transportation; valid driver’s license and clean driving record with proof of insurance
• Willingness to travel between properties daily; reliable transportation (bike, public transit, etc.)
