Job summary

Overview

Allied Reliability is seeking Maintenance Technicians I/II to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility.

Work Hours:

  • 2nd shift Maintenance Techs (Tech 1 or Tech 2): 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, occasional weekends
  • 1st shift Maintenance Tech (Tech I or Tech II): 5:00 PM - 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday, occasional weekends

*Must have industrial maintenance experience.*

Responsibilities

Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. Assist with preventive/predictive maintenance, resolve safety concerns, perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping, monitor inventory supplies, and maintain maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or military
  • Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
  • Experience with and ability to read blueprints
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8-hour shift
  • High School Diploma/GED

Preferred:

  • Boiler knowledge
  • HVAC experience
  • Wastewater operator experience
  • Experience with welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing
