Job summary

OC Sports & Entertainment, LLC is hiring a Maintenance Tech I for on-site work in Anaheim, CA. The role covers a range of maintenance tasks across venues, including repairs to drywall, doors, and seating, with opportunities to engage in welding and fabrication.

A minimum of three years in maintenance and proficiency with hand and power tools are required. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with an hourly rate between $23.00 and $26.00.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• Must be skilled in the use of various hand and power tools.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a maintenance capacity or similar role.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent decision-making skills and follow-through skills.
• Punctual and able to complete projects on time.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and eager to learn new operating procedures.
• Able to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift and can obtain necessary certification if applicable.
• Able read and write in English.
• Able to use a handheld radio and communicate effectively.
• Possess a valid California driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Requires prolonged standing and bending; able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Able to work a flexible schedule with varying shifts, weekends, and some holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Repair drywall, paint, tile, carpet, concrete patching, door and lock repair, and other repairs as necessary
• Perform required repairs/upkeep as needed to arena seating and miscellaneous equipment
• Metal and woodworking – fabrication/welding
• Maintain proper inventory levels in the Maintenance Shop and pick up supplies as needed
• Perform preventive inspections
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors
• Partner with management on various projects and job duties, such as on new and inventive maintenance procedures and protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned
