Job summary

E&S Ring Management is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to support our apartment communities in California. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to requests, and help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting living environment for residents.

The role emphasizes hands-on repair skills across plumbing, painting, electrical work, carpentry, and general upkeep, with a focus on timely responses and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Ability to receive and act on directions, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Complete occupied maintenance requests within 24 hours.
• Prepare market-ready units within a 5-day window for normal turns and 10 days for upgrades.
• Perform grounds and housekeeping duties within 75% of time.
• Complete tasks safely following company safety standards and report hazards.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow safety policies.
• Engage in preventative maintenance and maintain all mechanical systems.
• Assist in implementing an emergency plan and support emergency operations.
• Be available for weekend work and emergency maintenance calls.
• Perform other related duties as required.
