Nucor Corporation is seeking a dedicated labor professional to support Advantage Metals Recycling LLC in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on operating forklifts and skid steers, maintaining equipment, and performing general yard work in a safety-conscious environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Shift: Mon-Fri 3:30pm-12:00am; Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in safety program.
• Maintain industrial machinery and equipment – daily inspections and report defects.
• Move, assemble, install, or dismantle machinery; operate forklift and skid steer.
• Conduct visual inspections and assist with repairs.
• General labor duties including sweeping, shoveling and yard cleanup.
• Communicate over radio with teammates for coordination and safety.
