Job Purpose

To ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment; perform scheduled preventive maintenance; perform production equipment changeovers; troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical problems; maintain proper records for maintenance, inventory, and emergency repairs; promote good housekeeping; coordinate equipment training; and communicate issues to management.

Safety

• Follow all safety and health regulations as per company policies.
• Ensure safe operation of all plant equipment.
• Follow Lock out/Tag out policies.
• Wear PPE as required.
• Address unsafe conditions proactively.
• Participate in safety training.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet OEE and quality standards.
• Address production inefficiencies proactively.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Evaluate and improve equipment performance.
• Perform mold changeovers and building maintenance as directed.
• Maintain records for CMMS (EAM).
• Coordinate training and development with managers.
• Participate in plant teams and activities for continuous improvement.
• Operate powered industrial trucks per OSHA regulations.

Quality/GMP/Food Safety

• Follow GMP guidelines.
• Report quality, safety, and GMP issues.
• Perform sanitation activities and ensure equipment cleanliness.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; technical certifications preferred. 2-3 years of preventative maintenance experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting in manufacturing environment. Must demonstrate urgency, accountability, professionalism, and self-motivation.
