Job summary

Giti Tire Mfg. in Richburg, SC seeks a Maintenance Technician I to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot a range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC systems, and support the production team to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Prior experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC systems.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment used in the production process at Giti Tire Mfg. This role works closely with the production team to resolve issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure maximum equipment uptime. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand/walk/move about specific work area
• Lift to 75+ lbs. on a frequent basis
• Combination of office and plant-floor learning experiences.
• Exposure to industrial equipment, heat, and noise (PPE provided).
