Under the supervision of department leadership, the Maintenance Tech I performs general, routine maintenance and service of the health system grounds, buildings, and equipment. Responsibilities include inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair of equipment, facilities, and utility systems. Work is performed in accordance to departmental and manufacturers standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs minor construction, landscaping, and equipment installations.
• Operates power operated equipment in the performance of job functions.
• Records and updates documentation of repairs.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

• None required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduate or equivalent.
