Job summary

Mister Car Wash is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician I to keep our automated car wash equipment running at peak performance. You will use electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic skills to install, maintain, and repair equipment across our growing network.

You will travel within your market in a company vehicle, respond to urgent repairs, and partner with regional teams on new installations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance.
• Experience with electrical systems including 3‑phase power and control wiring is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across markets and work outdoors in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment operating.
• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on car wash equipment.
• Diagnose and repair high- and low-voltage electrical systems and PLCs.
• Travel in company vehicle to scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.
• Minimize downtime by promptly addressing breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Collaborate with regional teams on new equipment installs and tech rollouts.
• Maintain safe, clean, and fully functional locations reflecting excellence.

Jump into a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. As a Maintenance Technician I, you’ll:

• Apply your electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment performing at its best
• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment
• Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and 3‑phase power
• Travel across your market, in your company provided vehicle, to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent repairs
• Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures
• Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts
• Build strong relationships with teammates who count on your technical expertise
• Take pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and fully operational locations that reflect our commitment to excellence

You’re driven, hands‑on, and ready to be part of a team that gets things done. Ideally, you have:

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred)
• Electrical experience, including exposure to:
  • 3-phase high-voltage systems
  • Low-voltage systems
  • AC/DC electrical systems
  • Control wiring and powered equipment
  • VFD and PLC troubleshooting (preferred)
• Solid skills in at least four of the following areas:
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical
  • Hydraulics
  • Welding
  • Pneumatics
  • Plumbing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast‑paced environments
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on‑call hours
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders)
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire)
