Job summary

Mister Car Wash, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our growing nationwide network. You will keep car wash equipment running reliably through electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance, and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred).
• Electrical experience including exposure to 3-phase high-voltage systems and control wiring.
• Experience with VFD and PLC troubleshooting (preferred).
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment performing at its best.
• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems including low- and high-voltage, control wiring, and 3-phase power.
• Travel across your market in your company provided vehicle to complete scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent repairs.
• Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
• Maintain safe, fully operational locations reflecting our commitment to excellence.

Jump into a hands-on role where no two days are the same. As a Maintenance Technician I, you’ll:

• Apply your electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment performing at its best
• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment

You’re driven, hands-on, and ready to be part of a team that gets things done. Ideally, you have:

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred)
• Electrical experience, including exposure to:
  • 3-phase high-voltage systems
  • Low-voltage systems
  • AC/DC electrical systems
  • Control wiring and powered equipment
  • VFD and PLC troubleshooting (preferred)
• Solid skills in at least four of the following areas:
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical
  • Hydraulics
  • Welding
  • Pneumatics
  • Plumbing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on-call hours
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders)
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire)
