Job summary

MediLodge of Taylor is seeking a Maintenance Crew member to perform routine maintenance and repairs across the building and grounds. You’ll support HVAC, refrigeration, boiler systems and other equipment, while coordinating with contractors for larger projects.

The role requires at least one year in building maintenance and a high school diploma or equivalent, with opportunities to grow within a long-term care environment. An on-site, full-time schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repair to keep building and equipment in good working order.
• Monitors renovations, remodeling or contractor projects.
• Maintains and repairs HVAC, refrigerators, boilers, washers/dryers, and other equipment under supervision.
• Participates in painting, redecorating, carpentry, concrete and masonry projects.
• Inspects fire control equipment and sprinkler systems, documents findings.
• Maintains weekly facility logs for safety compliance.
