Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC in Selma, Alabama is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and support maintenance of production equipment and facility systems.

Under general supervision, you will perform repairs of air leaks, fans, lighting, lubrications and minor tasks, assist higher level technicians with PMs and repairs, test equipment after maintenance, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in maintenance or a technical degree, preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills including familiarity with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Focus on safety and housekeeping in all tasks.
• Repair air leaks, fans, and lighting; perform lubrication and minor repairs.
• Assist higher level maintenance technicians with PMs and repairs of production equipment.
• Test and verify proper operation of equipment after maintenance tasks.
• Work on special projects to improve process and department flow.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
