Job summary

mybrio at Chelsea Retirement Community in Chelsea, MI seeks a Maintenance Technician for full-time, 40 hours weekly (Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm) with weekend rotation every six weeks. Department: EVS. The role focuses on keeping senior living spaces safe, comfortable and well-maintained.

You will perform routine maintenance across trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC support, respond to requests, and ensure work complies with regulations and community procedures.

What You'll Do:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will help keep our senior living community safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained for residents, families, and team members. In this role, you'll perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot repair needs, and support the upkeep of community buildings, grounds, apartments, equipment, and systems.

This position includes a variety of hands‑on maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, mechanical repairs, HVAC support, apartment refreshes, preventive maintenance, and general building upkeep. You'll respond to maintenance requests, complete repairs in a timely manner, and help ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and community procedures.
