Job summary

Hyatt Place Newark Main Street in Newark, DE seeks a Maintenance Tech to perform preventative maintenance and repair work to uphold hotel quality and guest comfort.

You will handle tasks from ceiling tile replacement to painting, basic electrical and plumbing, with emphasis on safety and guest satisfaction. Shifts may include holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school training preferred.
• Previous maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete repair tasks as assigned.
• Repair ceiling tiles, sheetrock, wallpaper, and wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items; basic electrical fixtures and lighting.
• Handle plumbing tasks and basic repairs.
• Maintain curb appeal and general site cleanliness.
