Allure of Zion is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The primary role is to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the maintenance department to keep the facility safe and compliant with standards.

The ideal candidate should know boilers, compressors, generators, and related systems; read blueprints; and follow building codes and safety regulations. Strong communication and independent decision-making are essential; capable of working with residents and staff

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and related mechanical, electrical & plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in spoken/written English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, staff and the public.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and report to the Executive Director as needed.
• Assist in establishing and following a preventive maintenance program.
• Repair and coordinate repairs with outside vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Inspect areas for safety and proper labeling of equipment dealing with infectious materials.
• Participate in facility surveys and develop corrective plans when deficiencies are noted.
• Monitor safety, PPE use, and disposal of wastes per policy.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and respond to emergencies as needed.
