Job summary

PFG Customized in Lebanon, TN is hiring an Entry Level Maintenance Mechanic. The role focuses on safe upkeep of all warehouse equipment and building systems to ensure efficiency during night shifts.

Training is provided during a day-shift onboarding month, with compensation aligned to experience ($18.00–$19.50 hourly). Responsibilities include daily safety checks, routine and emergency maintenance, and keeping the work area clean and compliant with standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of maintenance and industrial repair or related experience preferred.
• Stable work history with reliability and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepares for operations.
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on equipment following approved processes and standards.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies facilities/buildings on a set schedule and in emergencies.
• Performs general housekeeping and keeps maintenance area orderly; secures equipment and completes reports at shift end.
• On-call rotation to support warehouse operations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

We value the safety of our associates! The Maintenance Mechanic keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings and ensuring it meets industry standards and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations. Performs daily safety checks.
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
• On Call rotation to support warehouse operations
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months maintenance and industrial repair or related area
• Stable work history with demonstrated reliability and dependability
• Able to work posted schedule and initial training schedule
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
