Job summary

ProAmpac is hiring for a maintenance-focused role. You will track inventory, read blueprints, and support machine setups and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts for wear, disassembling and reassembling machinery, operating tools, and safely handling equipment. Training on a day shift is required before transitioning to the listed schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to track and count inventory accurately.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and work orders.
• Experience with maintenance and setup of production machines.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 10am - 7pm

(Must Be Able To Train On Day Shift For 2-4 Weeks)

$1.50/Hour Shift Differential For Hours Worked 3PM-7AM

What You Will Do

• Track and maintain all parts inventory
• Required general knowledge in mechanics (gears, bearings, pulleys, belts, etc…), pneumatics and hydraulics in order to effectively perform various duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Conduct machine setups, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance service.
• Examine parts for defects, such as breakage and excessive wear.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts to inspect, test and repair.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to fulfill tasks.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment and machinery.
• Record repairs and maintenance performed.
• Safely operate a forklift.
• Required to have a set of tools to perform job requirements.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Receiving, stocking, and organizing materials
• Performing cycle counts and inventory audits
• Entering inventory data into computer systems
• Assisting with machine setup, operation, or monitoring in a production environment
• Ensuring materials are available for manufacturing or assembly
• Operated manual and/or CNC lathes to machine parts to specifications.
• Read and interpreted blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Performed measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
