Job summary

Summerfield Senior Living in Hammond, LA is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for a full-time role. You will perform basic building maintenance, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing tasks, in a climate-controlled senior living environment.

Additional duties include driving a 12-passenger bus (CDL required within 30 days, company paid), successful background and drug screening, and a regular 8:00–17:00 schedule with some weekend/holiday shifts. Benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
• HVAC, electrical and plumbing experience a plus.
• Must obtain CDL within 30 days of employment (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Drive a 12-passenger bus and maintain a clean driving record.
• Complete background check and drug screen.
• Hours are 8 am to 5 pm with occasional weekend/holiday shifts.
