Helen Farabee Center in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Full Time Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance and repair across plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and grounds.
The role requires 5 years of building/vehicle maintenance, a valid driver's license, and ability to read blueprints. Travel up to 25% and occasional after-hours on-call are possible. You will help ensure a safe, trauma-informed environment for staff and clients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Works under the general supervision of the Property Manager. Responsible for skilled maintenance and repair work in areas such as plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting, electrical, mechanical, heating & air conditioning, and grounds maintenance, and other duties assigned. Work involves maintenance of all facilities and vehicles. Works under moderate supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Travel is required for which a center vehicle is provided. Some on-call after hours required. HFC incorporates principles of trauma-informed care throughout the agency, emphasizing cultural sensitivity and a safe and respectful environment for all individuals served and staff. Education, Training, and Experience: High school graduation or GED and must have 5 years’ experience in building/vehicle maintenance and repair work. Must have current driver’s license and be insurable under Center insurance. Must pass all Center-mandated trainings.
