Description

Position: Maintenance Tech 3rd Shift
Responsibilities:
  • Perform upgrades to refrigerated warehouse space with the Maintenance/Engineering team.
  • Maintain existing warehousing and production facilities to ensure effective operation.
  • Inspect and repair machinery and systems such as electrical and plumbing to prevent failures and downtime.
  • Coordinate project status with supervisors to avoid unplanned production interruptions.
  • Handle mechanical equipment repairs and support the development of PSM and PM programs.
  • Attend to calls on lines, performing planned and unplanned maintenance work.
  • Complete work orders, including annual, monthly, weekly, and daily preventive maintenance.
  • Support and manage maintenance and engineering projects as needed.
  • Perform general building maintenance, including light electrical work.
  • Occasionally repair material handling equipment.
  • Collaborate with production leaders to improve equipment and line efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to follow repair and maintenance plans.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of mechanical and electrical experience maintaining forklifts and warehouse equipment, or equivalent trade school training.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools used in welding and finishing welds.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • High school diploma or GED; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience in facility or factory maintenance, especially with conveyor belts and refrigeration areas.
