Job summary

CSP Sarepta is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Evening Shift to support the facility's maintenance and manufacturing efforts. This role involves assisting with a variety of maintenance tasks and ensuring equipment remains in safe, efficient working order.

The successful candidate will have hydraulics, basic electrical, welding fundamentals, and basic math skills, plus strong verbal and written communication. Overtime may be required to meet production needs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and safety data sheets.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with maintenance team to complete tasks promptly as assigned by the team leader.
• Assist shop personnel with maintenance tasks to keep equipment and processes running smoothly.
• Maintain knowledge of chemicals (hazardous and non-hazardous) encountered, following safety procedures.
• Keep shop and equipment in good working order; perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Overtime may be required to complete critical maintenance tasks.
• Follow directions from the Maintenance Supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description CSP Sarepta is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Evening Shift

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Maintenance Technician is required to assist any and all personnel within the facility in the completion of any maintenance tasks and in assisting manufacturing in the common goal of quality products.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To work closely with all maintenance personnel and complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion. Follow through on instructions from the maintenance team leader.
• To assist any and all personnel within the shop in regard to the completion of any maintenance tasks.
• To see that the shop and its equipment is maintained and kept in good working order.
• Maintenance Technicians are required to work overtime when the job requires it.
• The maintenance technician will maintain knowledge of chemicals (hazardous and non-hazardous) that he comes in contact with during his job. He will seek out this knowledge by contacting the proper safety and environmental personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Working and functional knowledge of the following with the ability to demonstrate any of the requirements to the satisfaction of the Maintenance Manager, and the needs of the facility.
• Hydraulics
• Basic electrical skills and safety.
• Welding fundamentals
• Basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written skills
