Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician in Bloomington, MN to keep complex manufacturing equipment running and support aerospace production. You’ll diagnose, repair, and optimize automated systems across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and robotic platforms.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, familiarity with PLCs/VFDs (Allen Bradley), and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical/Mechatronics degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in a technical maintenance role in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with PLCs and VFDs, especially Allen Bradley protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook.
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude; ability to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes & repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics, Plc.'s, and robotic equipment.
• Accurately complete work orders in a timely manner and document all relevant information.
• Review production schedule and make equipment changes as needed.
• Troubleshoot and test equipment to check operations.
• Perform scheduled maintenance/preventative maintenance & emergency repairs, as needed.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be a key player in ensuring our facility runs safely, efficiently, and without interruption. No two days are the same-you'll troubleshoot, repair, and improve advanced manufacturing systems across the plant.

What You Bring

• 2-year technical/Mechatronics degree preferred or equivalent experience will be considered
• 3 years of previous experience in a Technical Maintenance role in an industrial manufacturing environment required. Previous experience working with PLC's and VFD's strongly preferred, with focus on Allen Bradley communication Protocols.
• Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities, Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook.
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude required.
• LOTO Training and ability to work in confined spaces, HVAC experience preferred.
