Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Everett, Washington is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for the overall maintenance of all production equipment and the implementation of new equipment. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm on the 1st shift.

You will troubleshoot, support and repair production equipment, select materials and tools for repair and installation, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.

• Troubleshoot, support & repair of all production equipment
• Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled/preventive maintenance on all production equipment
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines
• Design and implement installation of new equipment and tools
• Must comply with all company safety rules and policies
• Other duties as assigned

Position Summary

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in facility maintenance
• 1+ years of electrical experience with certification
• 1+ years of plumbing experience with certification
• 1+ years of welding experience

• Manufacturing/industrial setting with moving machinery and equipment

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
