Job description

Overview

We’re looking for a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician I to join our team in Tempe, AZ. In this role, you’ll put your mechanical and electrical skills to work by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Location: Tempe, AZ

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday (off Friday & Saturday) OR Tuesday–Saturday (off Sunday & Monday); 1st shift (4:00 AM–12:30 PM) or 2nd shift (12:00 PM–8:30 PM)

Pay rate: $32

Responsibilities

1. Conduct walkthroughs and assessments of operating and shut-down equipment.
2. Perform routine mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.
3. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
4. Troubleshoot malfunctioning or out-of-service machinery.
5. Assist operators with equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
6. Monitor and maintain plant systems and subsystems.
7. Work assigned shifts to meet production needs.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (food manufacturing ).
2. Knowledge of engineering principles related to plant operations.
3. Familiarity with equipment such as: Homogenizers, Blow Molds, Electrical Distribution (480V/60Hz/3 Phase).
4. Welding experience a plus.
5. Proficient in the use of tools and repair techniques with limited supervision.
6. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and plant drawings.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
