Job summary

Absolut Center of Endicott is seeking a Maintenance Tech to keep the facility in top condition, performing basic plumbing and electrical repairs and addressing maintenance requests from residents and staff. You will work under the Director of Maintenance, with weekend rotation, and enjoy benefits including PTO, health, vision, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Experience with facility maintenance, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs.
• Weekend availability (one per month).

As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the facility's upkeep, performing basic plumbing and electrical repairs, and responding to emergency maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities

• General Maintenance Tasks: Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including painting resident rooms and other areas.
• Plumbing & Electrical: Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Material Movement: Move materials and equipment between rooms and different areas of the facility as necessary.
• Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed.
• Supervision: Work under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience: General maintenance knowledge, including experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move at least 50 to 100 lbs.
• Work Schedule: Must be available to work one weekend per month.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.
• Emergency Response: Willingness to respond to emergency calls as required.
