Job summary

Florida Commercial Care, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance across our shopping-center properties.

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and Director of Maintenance, you will handle framing, drywall, tile work, plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical tasks to keep locations safe and functional. This full-time on-site role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy loads, a valid driver's license, and excellent customer

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of commercial properties.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds and stand for 8 hours.
• Valid Driver's License with 3–5 year history of driving.
• Ability to read and speak English; bilingual a plus.
• Strong commitment to professionalism and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Stud framing/Drywall.
• Floor-work including tile and laminate.
• Trim work including moldings and laminate applications.
• Completing Dry-Vit repairs and finishing on walk/roadways.
• Performing routine inspections and maintenance on locations.
• Install and repair interior wall/floor tiles and coverings.
• Work independently and also follow directions with others.
• Overtime flexibility when required.
• Plumbing, carpentry, drywall, minor AC repairs, renovations, painting.
• Experience in electrical, photocell lights and timing.
• Push/pull 100 pounds and lift/carry 60 pounds.
• Stand 8 hours, bend, stretch, climb ladders, crawl, kneel.
• Speak/read English; bilingual a plus.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Maintain professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness.

Job description

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and Director of Maintenance you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient commercial property repairs for various shopping centers. The essential function of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure all maintenance requests and work orders are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Stud framing/Drywall
• Floor-work including tile and laminate
• Trim work including various moldings, turnings, and laminate applications
• Completing Dry-Vit repairs, as well as repairs and finishing to various walk and roadways throughout properties
• Performing routine inspections and maintenance on various locations, including vacant and/or occupied units, and other areas of the properties
• Install and make repairs to interior wall and floor tiles and coverings made of various materials
• Ability to work independently as well as follow directions and work well with others
• Positive attitude. Flexibility to work overtime if required.
• Plumbing, carpentry, drywall, minor air conditioning, repairs, renovation, and painting
• Experience in electrical, photocell lights and light times a plus.
• Must be able to push or pull 100 pounds and lift and/or carry 60 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, climb ladders, crawl, kneel and be low to the ground when necessary, sometimes for extended periods of time
• Must be able to speak and read English (Bilingual a plus)
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness always

REQUIREMENTS:

• Great customer service when dealing with clients daily
• Able to respond thoroughly and quickly to all client complaints, concerns, and requests
• A valid Driver’s license with 3 to 5-year history of good driving
