Job summary

Berman Construction in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support client properties with routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and timely task completion.

You will perform various repairs from painting and drywall to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general labor, with ability to lift 50 pounds and operate ladders. English communication required; Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of applicable experience in general building repair, basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Experience with boat maintenance and repairs is a plus
• CPO or any pool related maintenance certification is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, use ladders up to 30 feet, and demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and handyman assignments with little to no supervision.
• Complete all tasks while maintaining a neat and clean work area.
• Perform maintenance repairs, including paint and minor drywall repairs, minor plumbing, appliance and carpet repairs, minor electrical work, minor HVAC repairs, general labor tasks such as moving and assembling items, minor concrete repairs, pressure washing, parking and building signage repairs, locksmith work, and tenant services.
• Use proper tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Take before-and-after photos of completed work using company-provided technology.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician contributes to client satisfaction through timely completion of assigned tasks and adherence of safety standards. The role supports routine maintenance activities, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.

Work Schedule

Full Time

Sunday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm

Friday - Tuesday 7:00am - 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities
