Maxus Properties, established in 1987, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for Landmark Grandview Apartments in San Antonio, TX. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, two years of property maintenance experience, and HVAC certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Two years of facility or property maintenance experience required.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations required.
• Candidates must pass Maxus maintenance exam.

Responsibilities

• Track and complete service requests for occupied/vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities.
• Perform timely repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and lighting.
• Prepare apartments for tours/move-ins with lock changes, inspections, and scheduling vendors.
• Assist with semi-annual property inspections, fire safety, pest control, etc.
• Assist with stock and inventory controls.
• Safely use and maintain tools and equipment.
• Complete additional projects under Maintenance Supervisor guidance.

Job Details Job Location: Landmark - San Antonio, TX 78249 Salary Range: $25.00 - $25.00 Maxus Properties is seeking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician for Landmark Grandview Apartments in San Antonio, Texas.

Scope and Purpose:

Maintenance Technicians are essential for the upkeep of communities, handling tasks from plumbing and electrical work to landscaping and repairs. They conduct regular inspections to prevent issues, collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, and ensure residents have a safe, comfortable environment. Their skills and attention to detail maintain property integrity and value, enhancing resident satisfaction and well-being.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Track and complete service requests on occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities.
• Perform timely repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, etc.
• Prepare apartments for tour/following residents move in by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, and scheduling vendors where necessary.
• Assist with semi-annual property inspections, fire safety, pest control, etc.
• Assist with controlling and reporting stock and inventory.
• Safely use and perform periodic maintenance of tools and equipment (hammer, drill, saw, gauges, etc).
• Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Full time M-F 8:30 am - 5:30 pm with Saturday and on call rotation
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• A current driver’s license is required
• Two years of facility or property maintenance experience are required
• HVAC certified required, or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• CPO preferred
• Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required.
• Candidates must receive a passing score on the Maxus maintenance exam.
