Southern HealthCare Management is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support facility upkeep and equipment reliability. You will work with our maintenance team to perform inspections, diagnose issues, and ensure systems operate smoothly to support patient care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to safety, and effective communication with vendors and staff. On-site work in a clean, supportive environment offered with opportunities for growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Experience with facilities maintenance and repair.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of facility equipment and systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
• Use CMMS to track work orders and document repairs.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Fabricate and weld components as needed.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems.
• Supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance projects.

Responsibilities Of a Maintenance Assistant

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of facility equipment and systems

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

• Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Basic welding skills preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Leadership skills to supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance projects
