Job summary

Parkview Flats in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician who is enthusiastic and safety-minded to care for residents and the community.

Daily duties include diagnosing and repairing electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC, appliances, lighting, doors, locks, and pool areas while keeping common areas clean and safe. Must have reliable transportation and be able to rotate weekends and on-call emergencies; a $1000 signing bonus is offered after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide proof of auto insurance coverage.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to take rotation weekend calls/on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and plumbing systems.
• Maintain HVAC systems (A/C and heating) and appliances.
• Repair doors, locks, lighting, and fixtures.
• Service pool areas and related equipment.
• Ensure resident safety and property cleanliness.
• Provide on-call support and weekend rotation as needed.

A Day In The Life Of Our Maintenance Technician Might Include Diagnosing And Maintaining/fixing Any Of The Following (in Addition To Helping With Moving Appliances And Keeping The Property Clean).

• Electrical and plumbing (including water lines). A/C and heating systems.
• Appliances (when applicable). Water irrigation systems.
• Stairs, gates, fences, patios, and railings. Tile, carpet, flooring.
• Interior/exterior lights. Fireplaces, ceiling fans.
• Gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable). Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors.
• Boiler, gas, and/or electric. Door locks, P.O. boxes, and locks.
• Security systems (where applicable). Ceiling leaks.
• Pool areas, tile, pool furniture.

Must have a Truck or Reliable transportation. Must Be able to take rotation weekend calls/and take on-call emergencies. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide proof of auto insurance coverage.
