Job summary

L & L Fabrication, Inc. is seeking a Building and Equipment Maintenance Technician to uphold safety and maintain electrical and mechanical systems across multiple facilities in northern Colorado.

You will perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in building maintenance, machinery or electrical repair.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot and utilize technical manuals.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in varied conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and repairs on buildings, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building infrastructure.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs promptly.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and building regulations.
• Assist with general labor tasks such as electrical, mechanical, painting, carpentry, cleaning, and landscaping.

Building and Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Description –This roleis responsible formaintainingthe safety, functionality, and efficiency of buildings, equipment, and electrical systems, across multiple facilities (northern Colorado). The technician performs routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance across multiple trades including electrical, mechanical, and general facility upkeep.

Rate of Pay –$22.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE

L&L Fabrication is an ASME Code vessel shop Holding U and R stamps. We offer ASME-coded work built to spec, along with repairs and maintenance on used pressure-rated equipment. Key Responsibilities

• May require shift work, on-call availability, and working at heights or in confined spaces

Work can be inside or outside, so expectation of weather and safety appropriate clothing.

Typical weightlifting expectancy is regularly 50lbs, occasionally 75lbs, and in team settings 100+lbs.

You may be exposed to noise around 90dbs; hearing protection isrequiredand provided.

Crush hazards are present, Hard Toe Shoes arerequired,and you willbe requiredto wearotherPPE dependent on the situation – If special PPE isrequired,it will be provided.
